Ratu Kadevulevu School (RKS) was one of the first schools to have REACT installed as part of the Ministry of Education's IDL project.

Located 3 hours from Suva and not far from QVS, RKS is a boarding school for secondary school students.

Set in the hillside with beautiful ocean views, the school is accessibly by 4x4 vehicles and is a challenging drive in wet weather.

As is typical, the school's only communication is by satellite with the school only having 1 telephone - in the principal's office!  Whilst the school has a computer lab' equipped with many computers, most are old technology but serve to teach the students about spreadsheet and word document programs.

Following the deployment of REACT, students now have greater access to education and the expertise of specialist teachers in Suva.  In addition, the use of REACT gives the students (and teachers) great exposure to advanced technology increasing their ICT skills and knowledge.
