Queen Victoria School (QVS) was the first school to have REACT installed as part of the Ministry of Education's IDL project.

QVS is located 3 hours from Suva and is a boarding school for some 700 secondary students - mainly boys.  There are also a handful of local students who attend on a daily basis.

Set in beautiful countryside on the coast, east of Suva the school is only accessible by 4x4 vehicles and is a challenging drive in wet weather!

As is typical, the school's only communication is by satellite with the school only having 1 telephone - in the principal's office! 

Following the deployment of REACT, students now have greater access to education and the expertise of specialist teachers in Suva.  In addition, the schools and communities involved in the MoE project, can now collaborate with each other using the full capabilities of the software.
