Katherine School of the Air (KSA)

In March 2007, Katherine School of the Air turned off their HF radios for the last time.  For 40 years, students living in remote location received their education via the HF radio.  Today, students living on pastoralist stations, indigenous communities or those just travelling the NT receive their lessons using REACT and their personal computers.

This video compiled by the ABC talks about this historial moment and demonstrates the significant benefits that using REACT provide - not only for a student's education but for the dynamics of family life too.
